COMMITTEE REPORT
PARKS & REC
Petersen reported to the Council that the City had $800.00 of a grant for trees that needed to be spent before November 1st. The City had removed a tree at Danbom’s Park and had not replace it yet. Petersen had talked to Brad Danbom about placing a tree across from his home.
The Council talked about repairs that needed to be done to the restrooms at the Terrace Park Beach.
UNFINISED BUSINESS
Rice received a letter from Mary Jean Montgomery about the First Street improvements.
Montgomery had signatures from 3 neighbors, along with hers and her husbands, against the First Street improvements Seih had talked with Patrick Carr, one of the neighbors in this area, and he had no problem with making the street improvements. The Council, after reviewing her concerns, decided to proceed with the project as planned.
NEW BUSINESS
Rice explained the money we could save through our Worker’s Compensation Coverage by using time cards.

Rice found a sweeper through Bob Cat that we could attach to the tractor for a cost of $3000.00. This sweeper would pick up the debris off the road. Rice explained the cost of a used drivable street sweeper would be $30000.00 or more.
Motion/Booth /Sieh/carried to purchase Sweeper at a cost of $3000.00
Rice explained the work that needed to be done to the 1980 Ford dump truck. The Council directed Rice to start to look for a used dump truck.
Rice reported to the Council we needed to purchase more fence posts for snow fence. Rice was directed to purchase more.
